Description of the Destroyit 2503 Cross Cut Level 4 Paper Shredder

The Destroyit 2503 cross cut shredder meets many of your everyday office shredding needs. Top quality steel cutting shafts power through staples, paper clips and credit cards and come with a lifetime warranty from MBM. The high quality wooden cabinet houses a quiet yet powerful single-phase motor, with its durable gears stored in a dust-proof enclosure. The cabinet is mounted on casters for convenience and the inside bag frame easily pulls out to remove and replace the disposable shred bags. The 2503 has a sheet capacity of 8 to 10 pages at a rate of 24 feet per minute and produces security level 4-approved shred particles. The Destroyit 2503 is also environmentally friendly, thanks to the “ESM” (Energy Saving Mode) that the shredder goes into after 1 hour of inactivity. Also, photo cell technology controls the automatic start and stop so the shredder is never running when it isn’t being used. Featuring the “SPS” (Safety Protection System), the Destroyit 2503 makes shredding worry-free and safer than ever with a transparent, electronically controlled safety shield in the feed opening. This prevents anything from accidentally being shredded and turns off the shredder when the shield is lifted. The oversized “Easy Switch” control element uses color-coded, LED-lit buttons to indicate operational status of the shredder. Being held up by paper jams is no longer an issue with the automatic reverse and power cut-off. The power is also cut off in the event of a full shred bag or open cabinet door.
